However, Dr. Greger does an amazing job breaking down the research in a straightforward manner. The first half of the book is devoted to explaining the science behind the role diet plays in disease. The second half focuses on what we should be eating. A 'must read' for anyone - especially those affected by chronic disease.

He breaks down all the food rules into a simple but powerful statement: "Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants." This is a great read to help bring us back to a simpler and healthier time.
