Will my Insurance cover this?

Great question!  The short answer is:  Quite possibly.

Here's what we typically encounter and how it works out.  We always recommend that you check with your insurance provider to confirm your benefits.  Call the number on your provider ID card and ask them what they cover for "Nutrition Counseling".

Blue Cross Blue Shield: BCBSNC plans typically cover nutrition counseling 100% with unlimited visits.  All other BCBS plans (out of state, NC State, Federal) vary.  As an in-network provider we can help you figure out your benefits.

United Healthcare:  Some plans offer reimbursement to the individual for nutrition counseling.  We provide an invoice for you to submit and UHC will reimburse you directly.  Call them to verify your benefits.

All others:  Currently in NC most other plans aren't adding providers or just simply don't cover nutritional counseling.   There are still others that offer the reimbursement route just like UHC.  Call your provider to confirm.

Out of Pocket Office Visits:   Variable.  Contact us for current pricing based on your personal needs.
